Jonathon Fernyhough passed away on the 7th January 2023 from cancer at home surrounded by loved ones.

His family and friends miss him greatly. He will be missed as a son, brother, uncle and friend.

Jonathon was a kind and caring person who dedicated his life to help others. Teaching secondary ICT he was never far from his core passion of computers and this grew into a life long commitment.

Jonathon was an open source advocate working mainly within the Linux area, he was instrumental in helping setup Fosshost, working with Manjaro, EndeavourOS and Garuda Linux. His contributions are still being felt in the Arch Linux community.

You will be sadly missed but not forgotten.
